Building on the heels of recent releases (read up on SDK 2.0 and SDK 2.1), we’re proud to announce some new features today with SDK 2.2. This SDK provides multi-tenancy capabilities through provisioned knowledge contexts and enhanced AI agent management.
SDK 2.2 will allow you to reuse the same AI agent configuration with different knowledge contexts. This means your agent can be provisioned with various data sources, providing your customers with even more flexibility.
Say you have two sets of customers. You can now assign different knowledge contexts to two instances of the same AI agent, and grant specific users access to specific knowledge contexts.
Today’s release is all about access and knowledge context control for you, the AI Developer.
What have we been working on?
SDK 2.2 introduces AI agent session management, automated knowledge context provisioning, and powerful access control, along with flexible UI. You can now reuse agent configurations across different tenants, assign specific knowledge bases to specific users, and retain full visibility and control over entitlement.
These capabilities unlock fully personalized AI agent experiences, even within shared deployments.
What you’ll notice
- Multi-tenant knowledge contexts: Automatically provision the same AI agent across multiple knowledge contexts and assign them to different users.
- Agent Session API: The new Agent Session API will combine the agent UID, context(s) UID, and User ID. This API manages the correct agent and context access for each user.
- Tagging: A dynamic tagging system will allow you to manage, record, and report on user agent access.
- Flexible UI: AI agents are no longer static and are no longer limited to a fixed chat window. Your agent can now collapse into a button, minimized to its original state, and expand into full screen.
What's coming soon?
- Font customization, including font style and font size.
- AI agents that manage your app’s features via natural language, acting on behalf of users.
